I am surprised at how much tone variation the 4005 has, and how light it is. It plays better than any of my other basses and just feels "the business". I won't be taking it down to the local "sawdust and spit" bar on a Saturday night though.

"Sawdust and spit bar" LOL
Does it have flats or wound, and what have you played it through?

Rounds at the moment, but I may put flats on it, and I play it through A Rickenbacker TR35B combo. (and a DI box into the desk).
