One could do a study on the differences between pop culture in the UK and the USA, just based on this one commercial.
There were also--in the UK only--two Ford KA commercials, the first of which (the cat commercial) was banned due to the outcry of the RSPCA. The pigeon commercial can be seen here:

No animals were injured in the production of these commercials, as they are CGI, but the cat one is kind of gruesome.
