Was Roger responsible for the 4000 / 480 body shape?

As far as I know, unless Mr. Hall can shed some new and interesting light on the subject.

He did the 4000 shape certainly, but was long gone by the time of the 480/481. But obviously the guitars were derivative of Roger's work.

Who was responsible for the current 4000 bridge/tailpiece design?

Actually, I don't know. But I'll guess that either Bill Meyers or Dick Burke, employees at the old factory were probably involved in that.
