Chips from The Chocolate Fireball-Another fantastic obscure record. "Vanishing Girl" is RIC 325 at its absolute most wonderful.

It's XTC at their most spaced out and wonderful.

The Dukes release outsold the then current XTC album in the USA three to one at the time and set the band off towards their current totally wonderful direction.

They just need to get Dave Gregory back in there.

Ian: I agree. There's something missing without Mr. Gregory.

The contrast between the tangential and arty Mr. Partridge and the studiously cool Mr. Gregory really did produce the goods. I've bought lots of Andy's "Fuzzy Warbles", but where is the new XTC stuff??
