Chromes question

Post by bob_atherton »

I need a spare set of D’Addario Chromes. I have thrown away the original packaging and I’m not sure of the gauges. The ball end colours are Gold, Red, Black and Green.

Does anyone know what gauges these are? Thanks

Bob, I don't think every gauge has it's own color. I think each color does a range of gauges. The colors just help the string installer find the right string number quicker.

Thanks Guys, I'm still no closer to working out the gauge though. I can't remember what colour the pack was when I bought my last set, but I don't think they are the very light ones.

My guess is that they are the 45, 65, 80, 100 set. I might just order some of these, they would probably be close enough.
