"Video games? I'm still playing pin ball machines."

Yeah I don't get into video games these days, too much else happening in my life!

"My Longhorn Reissue is the best sounding short or medium scale bass I've owned."

Thanks Fran for the comments. I bought a Jerry Jones Longhorn off of eBay and am most pleased with the sound. Love those pickups!

Bobross, happy that you're happy! When they first reissued in '98, they didn't seem to sell to well. I got mine in late '98 on a blowout from Victor Litz Music in MD. Amazingly, they had all the colors and were offing them at $149 each! I should have bought all 50 of them. Lately, especially up until the new '06 reissues, they were going for $400-500 on Ebay. Even at that price, they're worth it. The JJs have been available all along but I never got the opportunity to play one. Glad you dig it though. Flatwounds would be sweet on it, if you haven't already.
