Detroit area metal clubs?!?!?

Post by incubus2432 »

My band has started looking at booking some gigs out of our area (just for the heck of it) and were wondering if any Detroit area Forumites have any recommendations for clubs to check out. Basically we are a metal cover band doing primarily Metallica tunes (we're adding more and more other stuff but it seems the Metallica covers are still the "bread and butter" for the moment). I guess my guitar player sent a promo pack to Harpo's which looks great but may be aiming a little high for an out of town gig....we've played similar venues locally but out of town is a different story so we'll see. I'm just looking for some other ideas and "Thanks" in advance.

Erie, Toledo and Columbus are hopefully also going to be soiled. Image

My bro lived in DRC for a while, I forwarded your query.

Brian, you might wanna try Harpos or the I-Rock.

Let me know what happens, if you come to town, I'll be there Image

Also, the Token Lounge in Westland is a good metal club, the decor leaves a little to be desired, but the place rocks.
