Could he have played the Tele bass while the Rick was getting "creamed"?

FYI

I dont have it to hand alas it's in storage but I seem to recall that the inner sleeve of "Tormato" say the he also used a Gibson Thunderbird. In fact it tells you what the whole band played on each song. Wish we had that data for each lp. peace.

Interesting footage. However, I do remember seeing a different video to 'No opportunity...' on which Chris did play a 4001. No? Anyway, I'm betting my sweet a** that Chris used a Rick on that song, not a F****r.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

When I saw the "Drama" tour, Yes opened with "Does It Really Happen", Chris played a Frost Blue non-reverse Gibson Thunderbird.

Sounded real good too.

Mark - On Tormato Chris played the Gibson Thunderbird on Release, Release. On the rest it was the Rick and/or pedals. I had to dig out the LP at supper; you had my curiosity up.

It has some powerful bass parts. I would like to have heard DKTW without Jon's lyrics. It was a Chris tune.... it'd be interesting to see how he would have done it.

The best thing about Tormato is Chris' unusual bass sound, 'though he overused the Colorsound Dipthonizer pedal. The songs on Tormato aren't very good in my opinion.

How about the "Our Song", did he use a Thunderbird on it? It was played on the early part of 90125 tour. He used the T-Bird when they occasionally did "I'm Down" on that tour.
