Ric acoustics - how long?

Post by mike_smith »

I've just ordered a 700C in Montezuma Brown and been told 2-3 years delivery. Anyone any idea what's going on with the acoustic department?

My dealer told me Montezuma Brown was not a finish option on Ric acoustics, with RIC on the phone in his left hand (!). He stated that Mapleglo, Fireglo, and Jetglo were the only finish options in the US market.
So I ordered a 700C in Fireglo.
I can't wait.

Hey Noel, you won't be disapointed, I have a 700C in maple and a 700C-12 in Fireglo, both most wonderful instruments.
worth the wait.

I waited almost a year and a half for my Laramie, it is a great sounding and playing geeeeeeetar. This was 2000-2001 time frame, obviously they are still taking their time with these instruments
