Sure, we all know Paul Weller played Rickenbackers with the Jam, and there's the Rick on the cover of TSC's 'Our Favourite Shop' from 1985, but what about THIS? Never seen him with one of these before - looks like, what, a 360F? Not my favorite Style Council song, but it's got a Rick in the video, so...

That's Weller during his 'Chilites' period. He was a vegetarian at that time too. He's skinny as a rail in that video.

Paul actually started out as a bassist playing a Hofner violin bass, before becoming a guitarist. He played bass for his pre-Jam band before Bruce Foxton joined.
