Been gone awhile. Prices dropping???

Post by Lost Coyotes »

Hi guys,
I've been out of touch with the forum here for a while, though still happily gigging my favorite bass, my '86 4003.

I took a quicky look at eBarn, and it seems like the prices are going down, or maybe the demand is going down on some cool RIcs.
Anyone know what's up?
Thanks,
mike
Not that I'd ever sell my '86, but just curious.

lots of people selling to get the newer thin neck profiles. That is my guess.

I suppose the cost of gas could be hurting some buyers, also. That is affecting a lot of people's disposable income.

I might have to jump in of the latest "think neck" selling spree. I don't mind big necks (see link) so I'm not intimidated by the larger neck profiles. If only I could score on with the walnut wings, I might actually go for a MG (I prefer FG)

it would be nice if the prices were really dropping but it's probably not the case...it's probably due to a mix of all the reasons mentionned already.

When you wrote that, I was wondering why GAS wasn't capitalized, and then I realized, "Oh . . . gasoline! Right . . ."
