01 Jetglo BT at the RP

Post by relayer4u »

Mike just put up a sinister Jetglo BT 4003 on his site, but he hasn't put a price on it yet.

If you're looking for such an animal:

What's up with the bridge pickup surround on this one? It looks stock but the gaps around the pickup are much smaller.

Why aren't black screws used to put on the treble surround and the pickguard? I always wondered this on the all blacks I've seen.

Yes, the surround is a bit of a mystery. It appears to have been altered or is not a RIC part.

There's an illusion caused by the edge of the pickup magnet that makes it appear as if the opening in the bridge pickup surround is smaller than stock.

By the way Dane, the hipshot i put on it is killer and totally saved the feel of that bass. The bridge was bottomed out and it still needed to be lower. The hipshot solved that problem and now it flat out smokes as a player.I would have kept it except i couldnt handle the huge neck .

However, I do regret selling off these two things

So I'm on a mission if you will, which started with the 75th!
