If it had the P bass shaped neck instead of the J-bass neck, I might be tempted to get one.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I'm gonna look into one of these.

I'd like to get a black one and have Tony at Pickguardian make me some kind of custom guard.

Maybe gold.?

I ordered my 3 Tone Sunburst and Vintage White Jaguar basses last week from Ishibashi. Got confirmation of shipping yesterday.

Bluezy Guitars are good people to deal with if anyone's going to bid on the one they currently available on Ebay.

You're really into these, eh Jon! You up to three now?

Yup, these two will make it three. I love its tonal flexability, its neck, and its cool vibe.

I'm not partial to any other Fender models and I don't consider myself a Fender man. But the Jaguar IV is a great bass.

Doesn't look like it, Jeff - the Jazz neck is too skinny for a conversion, right?

This is interesting. I dont ever recall a new non-Rick bass cause such interest on the forum.

What with all the "attention-to-detail" we all share,,this must be a bass worth checking out a little closer.

Scott, I bought my first one (Hot Rod Red) last January and since then my 4001 had become a wallhanger. Why, because of the tonal versatility the Jaguar presented to me. Plus the added bonus of a ultra fast neck and vintage vibe makes this bass even more desirable.

I've yet to take it to a gig where I haven't received positive comments on it from other musicians and soundmen.

No wonder it appeals to Rickenbacker players:
-Classic yet futuristic design
-Lots of controls
-Lots of chrome
-Great sound
-Wonderful neck
-Great value for money

I was pretty blown away by the one I played - and I am not into Jazz pickups OR active circuitry!

I'd be interested in trying some flats on it, but it seems that this bass performs better with roundwounds - my buddy has roundwounds on his and they seemed to suit it perfectly.
