Silver/BT low BIN

Post by markbass99 »

This is a cross post from the wanted section, but this 1986 silver/BT just sold for $885(ebay) which is pretty crazy since I think the seller could have gotten a least $1500 out of this. I think the silvers are even rarer than the bright white ones.

Oh! Sorry Joe. I just went to the WANTED section. Sorry you missed it. Find out who bought it. Maybe they will sell it for a marginal profit. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Go for it Joe. I don't think I can take much more of your whining for a Silver. Image

What's a split guard doing on an '86? By 1986 the truss rods were the modern type, adjusted at the headstock end.

Hope you get the next one, Joe... I'll keep an eye on silver/BT's for you.

BTW, those are FAT horns!

Ilan, I had an '86 with split guards as well. Transitional year?

I've seen '85s with split guards but never an '86. I think they used them in '84-'85.

Well I would but unfortunately I just spent my bass money on a 5 string Lakland. So I am going to have to wait on this for a bit. I am watching it though and thanks for thinking of me! You never know!
