Yeah.
We opened the case in the store and saw the crack.
But I didn't know about the pots until I took it home.
The dealer called RIC while I was there and we left a message.

I picked mine up today from John at Old Boise Guitar. It is a real looker. I really like the unbound look. Sounds great too. I will get some pictures in the day light by itself and next to the 360.

Sorry to hear about yours Mark. I hope it gets resolved quickly for you.

Mark: Congrats on the 330! Very sorry to hear about the issues - unfortunate indeed but I'm sure it will be sorted out.

Brian: Congrats to you too. I'm going to attack mine with Scratch-X and Zymol today and take some pics. Like you, I like the simplicity of the unbound look but I think a 660 might be something special with the checkered binding. Looking forward to seeing one. I think Darren Trott has one coming, so I might get to see it 'live'! Image

As promised, pics of the 330 - all polished up with the 'PW' treatment. There are a few specks and blemishes but they are bits of dust and reflections. The finish is pristine!! Image

Looks superb, Aitch! It's got a very functional yet elegant thing going on. Kinda has the vibe of an old Jag or Bentley sedan...

My thoughts exactly, Paul. Straight out of the walnut-panelled and leather-lounged environs of a "Gentlemens' Club". It has a different smell, too.... a little less 'coconutty' and more 'chemical' - if you can dig that!

Unfortunately it has the classic 330 series 'clubby' neck but it's probably going to end up behind glass anyway, so no real problem. Image

Congrats, Aitch! She's a beauty. Now, if I'd just hear from my dealer that mine is in...

Thanks, Kris. As they say, "all good things......". Hang in there, mate! I actually feel a little guilty having mine when so many 'locals' are still waiting. Luck of the draw, I suppose, but it does feel odd......

Wow, Aitch.... That is truly gorgeous!

Are you gonna send some of those pics to Paul in a bigger format for the calendar? I wouldn't mind looking at that one for a month straight, LOL! Image

Congrats again! I'm sooooo jealous! Image

Very nice Aitch. I can't wait to view it (under glass).

Nice , Aitch, great pictures!

Mark, you have my sympathy. I had something similar happen to my 381JK, but thankfully it was only the lower PG on it and not the signature upper guard.

Got to have a look at this personally on Saturday, before it got the treatment. It's come up a treat Howard, great job! Got a nice reflection of yourself in one of the shots too. Image

I'm sure you'll get special privileges Brian, I think Howard would prefer people handle it, (with care of course), rather than having to continually clean the finger marks and dribble from the glass top case.
