Looks a teensy bit purple on mine too, Eric. Guess it's just the lighting.....

There are some variances in Midnight blue. It's been reported previously that some people say theirs looks purple. Eric Behring from RIC has acknowledged a handful of MIDs had a definite purplish hue to them.

Eric Behring was talking about the purple BBRs, nothing about purple MIDs, if I recall.

As far as the MF guitar, just a cra@@y picture, imo.

It's not really a burst...bursts are lighter in the center and darker around the edges...

I'd call this Lilac Pearlescent, and promise myself never to paint a guitar this color...
