Also, Mike Parks seems to be getting a few in as well, but Cheyennes - a MG and a BB.

LOL Yes, you did win John, but I was having lunch at In-N-Out Image
Looking at the PotR Cii Monty is not a good indication that "Charactered Maple" will remain in the Cii's description very much longer.

Ray, I don't know why, but sometimes the charactered pattens in the maple just doesn't show up well in pictures.

There may not be much character in the body wings, but the maple used for the neck appears to have some nice figuring.

My trans red 4004Cii/5 has quite a bit of charactered pattern in the wood. I don't know why, but it just doesn't show up well in most pictures I take. I can't explain it, I'm not a camera or lighting expert, nor am I that good of a photographer.
This picture shows some of the figure in the maple. You see can't see the character in the wood in this pic, like you would see it if you were looking at this Cii/5 in person. There is actually a lot of figuring and it's very pretty.

That Monty Cheyenne at POTR looks like a Laredo with gold hardware.... or else it just doesn't photograph well.

"There may not be much character in the body wings..."

To quote Harvey Keitel; "just because you are a character-doesn't mean you have character..."

I was maybe a bit too harsh judging the Monty Cii at PotR without seeing it in person. Photos of any finish and wood graining are indeed deceiving at times.

However, it has been available for a long time now without a buyer. With the limited production schedule of the Cii, there must be some reason for that.

You know, I've seen a Cheyenne II in Monte Brown, and it just doesn't look as nifty as a 4003 in Monte. I don't know why.

John-

Thas Carvin's AC50, semi-acoustic in QUILTED maple.

It also comes in flamed koa, flamed maple and claro walnit.

Alas, a RIC, it is not.
