This is the best way to use Paypal. I think most are lazy and view it as a good place for one's money. I don't think so--it's a national banking/lending/investment scheme that makes its own rules...

The seller of that '72 isn't responding to my requests for further pix; he may have a valid reason for doing so. Given this, and the non-original appointments, I have this morning scrubbed my bids.

All yours, guys.............

Donny, I asked for pics of the trussrods, and he said it would take a few days....

Mornin', Shaun.
I've asked twice; no acknowledgement. It's in sellers' interests to keep up the comms, and lack of them makes me tetchy. I went in early (with a v.high ceiling), confident that all qs wd be answered. Maybe I'm being impatient. And Anyway, if I'm gonna chuck £2k-plus at something, I'd want it to be all original. There's a '73 on the way. anyway, to keep me happy!

I know what you mean Donny, I'll see how it goes. Although even though it's a 72 I'd be surprised it it goes for that much, given the fingerboard. Sounds like it's not all bad for you though. A '73? Nice!

Ah well, back to work...Image

There's nothing wrong with a nice 73, they were the last of their kind before the goodies disappeared....

Certainly is.....I just prefer pre-skunkers if possible - it's a tone thing. But they don't get much (any?) better looking than that.

Mark, there is an ugly strap pin on the upper horn of your black beauty! She needs some new, nice accessories!

This one is a Feb. 73, I also have an April 73 in dark burgundy and a May 73 that Paul W. is doing in azureglo...there will be pics someday.

The 73's are of great interest to me for many reasons, my first rick was a 73 jetglo, they had an important role in the transition to the modern 4001/3, and my fiancee was born in July of 1973.

Pete- I already changed the strap button to the correct one, that's an old pic.

"and my fiancee was born in July of 1973."

Damn, my wife was born in May 1961, that's going to cost me a hell of a lot...!
