"E-I-E-I-O(wen)"? Why it's the "Dukes of Stratosphere"'s drummer of course! With Lord Cornelius Plum on Rickenbacker (a 325 I believe).

Congratulation, Steve! To all who don't know EIEI Owen is Owen Gregory, brother of XTC guitarist and Rick maestro Dave Gregory. I don't know if he used a 325 in those sessions. Most of the interviews I've seen have him crediting his 360/12 on most Dukes recordings.

I just checked out Dave's web site ( www.guitargonauts.com ) and you'll see his Rickenbackers under "Pick of the Month". It looks like he used a 1993 12-string and a 1996 for the Dukes recordings.

In my part of the country, it's easier to call it a Ricken ! I guess it's fitting more the french way of speaking. And if I'm writing here, well I use Ric or Rick... But then the latter reminds me too much of my brother in law!!!
