Sweet looking bass. The only thing I'd change is the TRC for a white one.

I vote stock, that bass is like the Ferrari of 4004's.

As far as project basses are concerned, I get the impression that Johnny B. is not very attached to his green boy(I could be wrong though).

Hey Ed.....I changed the nut and strung it BEAD today so, as you predicted, it's all downhill from here.

<-----should be the "devil" smiley but Ed appears to have gotten attached to it so I'll have to find another that I like.

I meant as far as Brian is concerned it should stay close to stock, if it were me there's a good chance that a fifth string would appear....that B string makes a great handrest...

I never thought much of Michael Anthony's bass playing until recently when I noticed that he can do a steady driving beat with his fingers while most others would use a pick. That one thing made me feel like I was cheating with a pick, so now I won't use one for that sort of thing. It just plain sounds better with fingers too.
