This firms and restates JH's official position on these. I suppose we can assume that its now even less likely that we'll ever see a 4005 reissue.

And I wuz hoping to get a 4005LS.

I might have a better chance of getting that bass then the DCM from the dealer my order is placed with.

Marc, if they try what I think that they might try, it will get ugly real fast.

I have to think that we will both get our DCM's, we did pay in full, up front.

I think this April Fool puts paid to any hope of RIC re-issuing the 4005.
I think they will probably keep concentrating on the current bass models.
But where is that new bridge?????
