What kind of soundsystem is this?

Tonight enjoying the band Heart on youtube I noticed they use a very strange soundsystem for guitar and bass. Never seen a thing like it. Does anyone of you know what this is?

Forget the sound system what the hell kind of outfit is the bass player wearing? Nancy looked HOT!

I never saw Nancy (keys) but Ann was hot! They were featured in Guitar Player December '79 issue and that could shed some light on the cabinets.

Ann, Nancy didn't matter in those days. They had the looks & the pipes. If for some reason people thought what the bass player was wearing was cool, they were smokin' somehin'.

Something about those cabs reminds me of the old Heil Sound speakers that were around when I started drooling over musical equipment catalogs as a teen...

Looks like they're in the wanna be stage....
They Wanna be like Jethro Tull and they wanna be like Led Zeppelin...and the bass player looks like a dyke! Good song but let's not try to be people we're not.
