Melibee Can't Post

Post by admin »

Melibee is using Firefox and is having difficulty posting. She sees the preview screen but cannot post the message to the board.

I have tested Firefox and do not have the same problem. Help is requested from those who might have had a similar problem.

She has also commented that sometimes she has had difficulty seeing photos under this topic area, hence my posting the problem here.

It must be an issue with Melissa's computer or Firefox settings. I've used the various versions of Firefox over the years (currently on 2.0.0.3) and never had a problem. Melissa - are you experiencing any issues if you use Internet Explorer? Any recent changes to your system (especially new software installation). E-mail me off board if you'd like.

I use Firefox 1.5.0.11 and Windows 2k Pro. Yesterday I had the Profile setting of spellcheck change on its own (server not FF change), and also the Prefiew Post screen stop that was unwanted and unchecked in the profile, but today with no changes by me I am not stopping on the Preview Post screen.

Thanks for your concern, everyone, and for your help, Peter! I seem to be back in action now; not sure what had happened or why!

Sure am glad to be back! Nothing like not being able to post to make me realize how much this place means to me.... Not that I didn't realize that anyway.... Image

Love ya all.... Image

BTW, I still can't view pictures in the "Rickenbackers for sale" section--does anyone have any suggestions to remedy that problem? As far as I can tell, I can see photos in all of the other topic areas.

Morose feeling of lostness, with increased agitation and irritability.... Image

My husband had to swear up and down that he didn't somehow sabotage my computer, LOL!

Melissa - are you logged in when you view the For Sale section? I told FF to remember my login settings and do not have any issues with being logged in or pictures.

Yes; in fact, I don't think it is possible to view the For Sale section without logging out first and then logging back in.... The system is set to remember my login settings.
