Nice car Aitch. It's good to have the sort of influence that you obviously have and I have to assume your contact it at or right near the top of the Mercedes group? You really get around don't you? Friends in high places and all that jazz.

.BTW, if I was riding around in a car like that, I think I would have rolled down the windows
Hahaha!! Well...... I just wanted to show that it was a cabrio - not your common or garden 'convertible'!
Ummmmm..... and we hadn't found the 'windows down' buttons at that stage!
We listened to some very appropriate music on the trip too...... 'Hautwerk', Darren's 'The Very Almosts' and 'Airway Lanes'.
BTW, John..... I didn't rent the car. It is a loan car compliments of a friend of mine who just happens to be the Managing Director of Daimler Chrysler Commercial Vehicles in Australia. He offered it to me a couple of years ago and the 'special occasion' I was waiting for hadn't arisen until Alisha told us of her impending trip Down Under.
And I'd call this the perfect occasion!!

A great photo that captures the spirit we have come to expect from Rickenbacker lovers down under. Thanks Darren.
