RICK ACOUSTICS--UPDATE

Post by jingle_jangle »

A lot of time has been spent on jigs and making and assembling parts, besides building the first few guitars, in the past ten months or so. I am in finishing stages on all the 6-string guitars that have been ordered.

Here's a purpleburst one that's going to Mike Parks next week:

And a shot of one rack with a few completed and finished guitars:

Because I'm a one-man shop, I still can only complete one guitar at a time, but orders will be shipped out in order of deposit received.

I now have a stock of completed, unfinished jumbo 12-string acoustics. I've got both maple and rosewood available. These can be finished to order in customer's choice of color and options.

For details and to order, please write me at the e-mail address in my profile.

Is "Mike Parks" Prince's real name?

Of course I'm drooling over that tobaccoburst...Those are some lovely guitars, Paul.
Here is where I hide my music:

Never, ever drool on your surf shirt. It wrecks the solo.

The Tobacco Burst was also shipped to Mike Parks. He should be receiving it next week sometime, if anyone's interested.

George, isn't Paul letting you test each one before shipping?

BTW, with regards to the purpleburst, how long will it be before Melibee chimes in?

I wonder, is there any special color plan, like, for instance... Image
(not a potential customer, just curious)
Liked the one in the front & second from left.

I'm not sure that I'm keen on the purple one...... to me it's fine for an electric but I feel there's just too much colour on such a BIG guitar!!

I'd be a HUGE fan of a Jetgreyburst, however!!! Image

Can't say I'm crazy about the purpleburst on the acoustic either. I feel like I need to adjust the hue on my monitor.

OMG!!!!! It's my 330's big sister!!!! Image

Not so sure I like the Purpleburst on the acoustic, but yet at the same time there is something simply irresistible about it. Image

Please post some more pics of that one, Paul....
