7 months later she's almost done!! Just need to add the toasters and she's ready to rock!

Very Cool Brian! If you don't mind my asking, how much did a paint job like that set you back?
Looks like something you'd find Ming Tea playing!
(Ming Tea is that band from the Austin Powers movies, I think it has Susanna Hoffs in it...)
I wouldn't mind THAT being the new 2004 "color"!

I'm not sure of the complete damage yet to my bank account. I ordered it a long time ago and put a bulk of the cash down on it. I had the back of the neck stripped of that finish since I can't stand it and I'm also getting toasters put on it.... vintage case too. Noel Gallagher from Oasis inspired this bad boy for me. LOL!

Cool finish that makes your baby stand out from all the other 330"s, Brian!
In fact, I am sure your 330 "UJ" is a far better built guitar than those Epiphone Noel Gallapher "Super Nova" Union Jacks!!!

Congratulations on a unique Ricky.

Reminds me of the 620s on the header page for RIC's site with the English, Japanese, and German flag Rickies. RIC was one of the very first sites I visited when I lost my online virginity (years ago now!) and I mistakenly thought they were finish options...

Brian, that is waaaaaaaaaay cool! Especially since Rics have such a strong association with the British Invasion in the minds of so many people....

Thanks!! I just want to point out that the image doesn't do the guitar justice. All the lines are straight edged and whatnot. The photo isn't the best quality. I'll try to get another one up with the toasters on it too!

Very nice idea Brian. I am amazed that there hasn't been one made with the American flag, although after seeing yours such a finish can't be far behind.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

How about a maple leaf one for you, Peter? That would be cool, too!

Very very cool Brian, I'm amazed Paul Weller never thought of it.. he only managed this one:

Not sure how he filled in the cavity under the pick guard though, the guards where remade in clear perspex.
