Did last year's price list describe the 4003 the same way? Or is that the way RIC describes the triangle inlay as opposed to a dot inlay?

Wow that's a major hike. I guess none of my friends will ever have one now.

My goodness! These are huge increases...

The 381 has gone up $1000 from last year, which had gone up $1000 from the year before.
620 went up $300.
330 went up $300.
360 went up almost $700.
350v63 went up $500.
4003 went up $400.
4001c64 went up $600.
325c58 went up $700.
etc...

I'm pretty sure it was the same last year, John.

Thanks Richard - I found this tidbit interesting:
- The models 650S and 650D have been cut due to elimination of the oil finish process and in anticipation of updated models.

John what does that actually mean in terms of production? Cut due to elimination of the oil finish process

Sounds like they've decided not to do any more oil-finished guitars in the factory. It's probably too time-consuming, or perhaps the oil finish has become too expensive and they can't keep the prices of the guitars reasonable anymore.

Ben Hall said just this week that 5A+ quilted maple had really gone up in cost. With as much as they must use on the 381v69 reissue, I would guess that at least part of that $1000 price increase could be attributable to the continued rise in wood prices.....

Good thing THIS one is already bought and paid for
