where to find black pup selector switch tops...

Paul,

a few of us are after replacements for broken/split 'caps' for our pup selector switches...any idea who would sell such a thing?

I know I'm not the right Paul, but if you're willing to wait until tomorrow, I think you'll be able to buy some from the boutique, although you might think it silly to just order the one item. Hey, you could order a strap or some straplocks, or maybe a set of vintage knobs, or maybe a T-shirt, to make it worth your while. :D

Could you point to the proper tips? The ones on this page are miniature ones for the mini toggles on Laredos and such. I ordered the black one and it was a tiny molded soft plastic.

No illustration on the one I suspect...don't buy Allparts or most others, as they are shorty style.

Here's one on Ebay from our knifeguy friend...

But why not just wait until RIC reopens, call Kenny and get the skinny?

According to the parts diagram here:

http://www.rickenbacker.com/pdfs/knobstoggle.pdf

it looks like you need Part Number 03568. Is that the one you ordered that was too small?

That's the only one on the boutique page without a photo or illustration...

Dag, way to go Gary! That should be the one. I ordered the one pictured at the bottom, 08823, which was the wrong one.

This is the one, according to parts pdf Gary pointed to:
