dilemma

Post by berth »

Choices, choices........

I have a 4003 BBR on order for quite some time now. But I am having second thoughts wheather I should go on with this or cancel this order. I just got a -build in 2006- 4001c64 and the neck is on the edge of as wide as I think is comfortable. I presume a 4003 neck will be even wider. On the other hand BBR is absolutely my most favorite color ever. I get the feeling the 4003 BBR is not as popular anymore on ebay as it used to be. -if I am right at this- a BBR will devaluate quite some after having bought new.

What would you do with these choices?

Buy the bass. You've waited this long you might as well stick it out. If you decide it isn't something you want to keep I can't imagine you couldn't get a premium price for it.

This sounds pretty unanimous to me. I guess now I have no other option than buy the bass. ;-)

Buy it. If you don't like it, I'm quite sure someone here would be more than happy to take it off your hands.

My 2 cents...get it. You can NEVER have too many RICs. Especially BBR. It's a really nice color.

Get the BBR. If you don't like the neck, sell it to me. I'll give you what you paid. :)

@blueflamerick and @VRICKY63:

This British shop still seems to have one. I mailed them about a month ago weather it had the "new" neck. They answered they didnt know, and Rosetti didnt know either. I am not sure it still is there.
