The newest Vintage Guitar magazine (April 2008) has a couple of nice Rickenbacker related articles. Both the 4005 bass and 481 guitar have one page write-ups (large pages). The 4005 article is in their "Bass Space" area.

There is also a long article on guitarist Mick Taylor that I want to read.

The 481 article had some good Ric history in it.

I've just recently subscribed to Vintage Guitar Magazine after realizing I was often buying them at the closest Barnes and Noble book store.
