And no one can figure out why a person just walks into a business and starts shooting......

Since you might have an extra day or two, you could always bake the delivery guy some brownies - laced with Exlax!

The only thing I've ever received via DHL was a packet of bogus money orders, not that it was DHL's fault that they were bogus. I didn't lose any money. It was an attempted roommate scam: "Here's my deposit and first months rent. You may have noticed that I've sent 3x the smount required. Could you cash the money orders and wire the extra $ to this address "?

Hmmmm...maybe that's why they're always late.

UPS is smart, though. All their guys wear dark brown uniforms.

Gives new meaning to that old UPS slogan, "What can brown do for you?"

Problem resolved without incidence. It's safe to go to McDonald's again, if you like McDonald's!

I just read this old posting on TB:

"DHL makes lots of customers unhappy, they need some tweakin'. I was at an intersection in home town when a DHL van turned in the same direction I was heading and when it turned I notice the back doors swinging open.. boxes just fallen out and the driver just kept going.... he musta dropped at least 15 container before somebody finally alerted him...
.....Darwin Award for sure..."

And another!

"DHL arrived 3 hours after they said they would be to my door with a bass. I was back at work ERRR. The driver says he let a random stranger sign for it(it was supposed to be me signing) and then because he could not read the strangers sig...signed for it himself
I never saw the bass, neither did my neighbors. it took DHL 7 months to pay me, and then they only paid me $500 on a $650 bass.

I dispise DHL"

Their record with me was something like 29 lates out of 31 deliveries, with one delivery--supposed to be an overnight--arriving 9 days later.

All my vendors have now been instructed to ship any way EXCEPT DHL. The only guy who won't offer an option is Gary at NCM; when he's shipped a larger package (twice--once for a set of VOX Continental legs, and the other for the VOX amp mentioned above. Both were late, but because I made no less than 9 calls to DHL the day the legs were due to arrive, they did arrive the day after they were due.

Abysmal...Gary's cool. DHL is definitely not.
