I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for sharing your info about Scratch X and Zymol. I never really tried it till this weekend. Friday I picked up a nice 4003S-5 that had 17 years of scuffs and grime. I dissasembled the whole bass and after about 4 hours of rubbing and polishing, out came this beautiful instrument. If not for this forum and your expertise, I would have never known about these wonderful products. This stuff really does work. (click on the pics)!
