If he's going to Shenandoah then he'll more than likely be studying under Glen Kaluda; Dr. Kaluda is a great teacher and Shen. U. is a great music school.bosco64 wrote:Evan, did you used to write for Prisoner: Cell Block H? I could remember my mom watching that EVERY day. You nearly made me spit up my green beer! A liitle dramatic, but I get the point.![]()
Since the wife and I don't have any kids, I could always talk about somebody else's kids. There's a young man (a senior in high school) that works at my wife's store who happens to be an excellent guitarist. He wants to have a career in music, so a couple of weeks ago he auditioned for a spot at the Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Virginia. He had to perform an original guitar composition and do some sight reading as well. He was pretty nervous before the audition, but my wife and I knew that he would do very well. Late last week, we found out that he got accepted into the school, and we even found out today that he got a partial scholarship as well. We were just as proud of him as if he was our own son. His parents have done a great job of raising him, and he's a fine young man.
Steady on Aitch!!! It's for Kieran, not me! It's a half size, fully playable beginners rig!ozover50 wrote:What????? Greg????? A Strat?????? You?????![]()
