Sweet. I don't dig the 24-fret models with 3 pickups, but this should be cool. Pretty unique burst

Are you putting gold guards and TRC on that beautiful instrument Paul?

I know, I was trying to say (in an unclear manner) that I don't like the 24 fretters but I do like the 21's like this one. The modern 340's look like they have a big forehead or something.

I have a gold TRC and I'm making a set of gold guards to match.

It's resting; the finish will need a few days to shrink, then flatting, then a final flow-coat of CV, then reflatting and buffing out, assembly, set up, etc.

Haha, +1 on the weirdness of 24-fret 3-pickup guitars.

This one has probably the best finish I've ever seen on a Ric...great work, Paul!

Btw, Paul, is it possible to convert a 24-fretter to 21 frets? I know there would be a big hole from the pickup, but that could be filled and painted over, right?

Anything is possible. Whether it'd be worth all the work, dunno...

Unbound sound hole on the "real thing" though :):
December 1993 370/21v64 FG
December 1993 370/21v64 FG
The checked binding on the top of that one is nice! Great color, too, Paul!
