Good luck getting the vaseline out of your hair though! Oh wait, that won't be a problem, will it!

Paul: I think you should have quit while you were a head.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Paul,

That's surreal... A Spike Milligan line come to life:

"Why are you wearing that boot on your head soldier?"
"Because it fits sir!"

Hair's not a problem, but nostrils are another thing entirely.

As God asked Paul, "How long can you hold your breath?"

Paul: I heard that your family nicknamed Boots "Blacksmith" as every time you gave him a boot he made a bolt for the door.

No apologies to Bill C. necessary--you paraphrased his, "Noah--How long can you tread water?"

Personally, I stopped being a Cosby fan years ago. He is far too full of himself...Michael Eric Dyson takes him to task in his latest book, and Cosby is running a bit scared because he knows Dyson calls it like it is.

Back in '79, when I was a newly-transplanted Chicagoan living on Doheny Drive in the flatlands of Beverly Hills, I had parked my woodie wagon on Doheny while I ran in to grab my wallet on my way to a dinner; when I came out, there was a gold Rolls-Royce convertible parked, top-down, in front of the woodie in a no-parking zone. There was a tall black guy inspecting the paintwork on the woodie. It was Cosby.

Bill Cosby remarked, "nice car," as he got into his Corniche and drove off. It was my first experience of many in those days with tasteless ostentation, but compared to what goes on today, it was the height of subtlety.

Can somebody help me get this thing off? I have to teach a class in two hours...

Always good to be prepared for a sudden reversal of gravity.

Paul,

Great new avatar - if only we had an audio clip of the discussion between team members...
