Forgive me Father, for I have sinned
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned
Lust got the better of me today. I made my semi-annual pilgrimage to the local dealer on the other side of town, i.e. Southpaws.
Came home with a C/S NOS '61 Strat.

It wouldn't be that fine looking Desert Sand one by any chance, would it Richard?

This stands out like a bright spot of subtlety in a sea of Fiesta Red flamboyance...
A GORGEOUS Strat, Richard! Congratulations.

There is one.
In fact, there are bajillions. Just find a desert and look around.
Honestly, though, I was aware of this color on Duo-Sonics and Musicmasters back in '57-61; I've got a coupla these. But on a Strat--this is news.
That Strat would look amazing with a custom-made brushed aluminum, gold anodized pickguard like the Duo-Sonics and Musicmasters had...
