Hi there everyone,
My name is Bob. I live in Minnesota and am a luthier here. I've owned a couple Rickenbackers and was WAY into them back in Jr. High and High School. I've owned two of the 325 reissues, and have played so many others.
I work at Willie's American Guitars in St. Paul doing repairs and some sales, and I'm currently trying to put together my own workshop to build instruments.
In regards to Rickenbackers, I'm INFATUATED with the combo 400/450 Tulip shape instruments from the late 50s (I posted a wanted ad for a project condition one if anyone knows of one). I also find the Combo 600 guitars and the combo 850 along with the tulip guitars to be some of their coolest looking instruments.
Well, I'm glad to be aboard the forum. Thanks for having me!

Hi Bob! Great taste indeed. I agree with you 1000% on the Combo 850 being one of the coolest guitar shapes ever. For me it is THE coolest ever.

Welcome, Bob. This is a great place to hang out. Of course, it will only encourage your Rickoholism.
