Very cute, Bruce, and the bass ain't bad either. I wonder if that's one of the UV finish basses - the gloss is shinier and the bubinga looks different.

Neither of these should look different from the "old" CV days. The ones I saw at RIC looked the same to my eye.

You could put a hb1 pickup in the bridge and a toaster in the neck and then not have to rework the pickups. But if you do that you might want to put a 500k ohm volume pot on the hb1 pickup.

Which is a polite way of saying I'm so screwed down the road. Working on all my "psycho dad of the girlfriend" looks and phrases now.

Just looking him in the eye as you are polishing your bass and say - "she's the apple of my eye and you know I really wouldn't mind going back to prison..." works every time!

Just get yourself an airsoft copy of an AK47. They are cheap and non-lethal, but they look real. Sit in your living room when Junior comes to call on your daughter, and look like you're cleaning it. Then give him the psycho dad treatment. That should drive all the bad ones off

No I've never been there(Thank God)! But I do know some people who are prison guards here in NC. Plus I like my guns, and my basses! BTW the only things I shoot are range targets and old produce.

That would be fun. Going to the range and blasting some targets, or some old watermelons is a fantastic way to relieve stress IMO. The main thing is ALWAYS safety first. Weightlifting, another hobby of mine, is also a great stress reliever. These days you need something to counteract life's aggravations. Playing music although very enjoyable, can be either a stress release or a stress source, depending on the situation. At different times, it's been both for me.

A little trick for the boys,,,, when they start coming to the house just kill the first one and word gets out pretty quick.
