Hi Michael...Yes it was one of the best-playing Hofners of any model I've ever owned, but I'm afraid it has a new home now......FYI, it looks like Hofner is going to re-issue a 500/1 very similar to a '57 model, but more like a '58 or '59. Look for it soon......I may get one myself.
