Geddy Lee needs to put the well used- and made the point for a different sound - Jazz bass back in it's case and bring out the Rickenbacker 4001 bass again. One only can wish...

Well, I sent in an email stating that there are "many" of us who'd like to see the Rickenbackers back in action, particularly during this Anniversary tour.

Now let them hear from the rest of us!Image
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

Hey Rick, Your making a bit of a trip then, I hear there will be a date in Holland on the 15th and then to Germany! Sure it's going to be a hell of a show with Ric's or not!

According to the tour schedule on-line they are not coming to Germany. I figured I should see them on this tour so decided on the London date. London is just an hour flight from here. Airline tickets are very cheap.

Got my tickets for the June 8 Detroit show...can't wait! I hope they will mix up the set list, since they aren't "promoting a CD" and throw out some stuff just for the fans that they have been wanting to hear for a while now. It seems that they have loosened up a little over the last few years and are starting to have more fun onstage and with their music and that is good to see. Image

John,
Did you get yours? I think there might be some available still....I had to go thru Ticketmeister since the Rush pre-sale only offered me lawn tickets.

Hey Steve,

Nope. A friend of mine was supposed to buy them this time in presales (I got them last time), but we mistimed it. After seeing the $73 price for ****** seats, it looks like I'm going to settle for a night in front of the TV with a Rush DVD.

Thanks for the info. though.
