HOLLOW SEED

Post by walker »

Nick Champlin mentioned using a 350/12 to take the place of a piano line in his song 'Run To Him.' In my tune, I used my '79 4001SLH to double chords played on an acoustic guitar, and I've been told that the line has a very piano-like sound. This song is a mish-mash of basses. Besides the 4001SLH used to play chords, I used my 1968 4001 for the fundamental bassline, and my '79 4001V63 for the super-distorted bass line at the end. The "piano part" appears again in the end of the song.

OK. Enough prepping. Here's the tune:

Wow, Mark, what a ride! I wouldn't presume to comment much technically, but to say I love your ever-changing time signature and the dark harmonies throughout. The effects are well balanced. It feels awesome, just huge. Really great song, Mark!
