hello, this is my first post ever...
to all those Vox AC30 & Rickenbacker owners, i have a question regarding some settings that will maximise my tone...
i have a current problem with the normal channel being too dark, and the brilliant channel being too bright...
where do you set the knobs so that you can get that awesome tone?

The tone controls on the AC 30 are highly interactive. When you boost the bass, it has the effect of cutting the treble and vice-versa. Try using the brilliant channel with the bass boosted all the way up and the treble at 1/2. Then twist the cut control until it sounds punchy. Don't forget that most Rickenbackers have well designed tone circuits also. I like to play my 360-12 with the neck pickup set on full and the bridge pickup at 2/3 with the tone controls backed off slightly.
