hi..have just purchased a very sleek looking 1997 and am looking to put a bigsby on it..i have found the site but am unsure of which one would be correct for this guitar... and with the minimum amount of damage also...

IMO, the B3 looks to be the most suitable option.....

Actually, it should be a B5 if memory serves me correctly. You'd have to mount the unit to the top of the guitar the same way you would with a Telecaster. The B3 is suitable for "thinline archtops" like the Guild Starfire III or the Gibson ES 137. The B3 has a hinged tailpiece that requires at least an inch and a half of body depth in order to mount it securely. Hope this helps.
