Oof. Somebody in the 80s thought that thing was going to look cool for ever. The decade o' brass.

I've got a gallon of that paint left over from painting an old John Deere lawn tractor...I think he used a roller, judging from this photo:
Re: The Horror!!!
Unless it's the lighting, it looks a tad dark for JD green. Although, a John Deere green Rick would look OK with my little tractor:
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Reminds me of Tijuana...gaudy, like it'd be hanging on a wall in some place in TJ, or off the shoulder of a bassist in one of the clubs down that way.jingle_jangle wrote:I've got a gallon of that paint left over from painting an old John Deere lawn tractor...I think he used a roller, judging from this photo:

Doesn't look like anything that couldn't be changed back to stock without too much trouble.

Re: The Horror!!!
...Except that he's sanded off the binding and rounded the edges off "a lá McCartney". So it'd be a fake S.beatlefreak wrote:Doesn't look like anything that couldn't be changed back to stock without too much trouble.
Re: The Horror!!!
The binding being rounded is the "good" part to me . If I had $$ I'd have it done S style for sure.
