So it's post modern/vintage or is that post vodern/mintage!
Well...... I have a 74 4001 with a Rickenbacker HB pickup in it......

Ah,

Another Alemric!

MOST EXCELLENT and nothing to be ashamed of!

Installing a $1600.00 retail set of Alembics is a easily reversible mod. Mine however, dropped right in.

I actually managed to get the chrome bridge pickup cover to fit, that makes the bass look even MORE Stock....next, is to try to get a toaster cover to cover the neck position pup!

To me, this is the best of both worlds. 8)

Actually closer to $1000 for the pups.

But sad to say, I am not "bonding" with the bass. After the holidays, I'll have to think about parting ways....
