Anyone else here think that there has been some good deals lately? The following comes to mind:

or this if it stays low:

If that Mapleglo Laredo was a Cheyenne, I might have been very tempted to go for it. Or if it was JG or FG, I also might have been very tempted to go for it.

Seeing the mods on that '73 JG are reversable (okay, leaving 3 holes), that is a give-a-way price on it.

The 4004 didn't have much interest, and the first time around it just sat there. I guess I was hoping it would come around for a third listing with an even lower price. Don't know about the "reliced" Azure S. It will probably rocket in the end. As for the '72 JG, I thought about it for days. But didn't want to have to work on it from the get go. It bothers me when I see plastic around a bridge mod, and when there is some problem with the electronics. But, ya gotta love it when sellers describe a problem and then say that it sould be an easy fix :D

Any who.... Like you, I am always watching. It seems like whenever something comes along that I am truely interested in, the price is too high.

This is what I am looking for http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5&ssPageN.

Silly me   I have never visited that portion of the forums. I guess he did not get his asking price back in August. Like always. I will be watching. :D

That 73 was very cheap, no question.

John Fay's bass looks very nice. That's a give away at the opening bid for an early desirable V63, and even at this time of year should go higher...

Maybe that bridge mod and the damage at the sides of the neck kept that '73 from going higher, especially with the economy in the gutter.
