A Les Paul bass case is going to be too long and not deep enough and the lower bout measurememnt will be a bit too wide.
Some of those cheaper Beatle bass cases that everyone makes might work tho. Most are 12 to 12.25 inches at the lower bout and the Club measures 12.5.
Hopefully the people doing the measuring are measuring from the padding easily as apposed to jambing the measuring device in there pushing in on the padding.
Musician's Friend has a really nice one made for a "Beatle" bass and it looks to have really thick padding and may possibly work.

I suppose that's worth a shot - worst that could happen is you'd have to return it. I wouldn't count on too much wiggle room - I wanted a case for my Yamaha acoustic and it took 2 tries to get one that worked. The first looked good on paper, but alas in reality they must have been using a rubber ruler.

Another option may be to get a case for a knock-off...Eastwood makes a Club Bass copy and they provide the case as an accessory item.

I saw that too. I have an email in to them as well as other venders. Who's to know if their copy is indeed a correct copy!

I called an Eastwood dealer here on the east coast and they in turn called Eastwood in Canada. Their reply was...
"We use a standard rectangular bass case, interior dimensions are 461/4" X 13" X 4"...and they want $140 for it!
My Club measures 12 1/2" across and roughly 43 1/2" long so it would be a rather sloppy fit.

OK, that didn't work very well... :(

It may be a longshot, and who knows if it's any good, but how about this:
