I just bought a RB120 for a cheap price knowing there was something wrong with it.
The amp sounds distorted, even on low volumes. The longer it is "on" the more distorted the sound becomes. Is this a "known" problem? Any ideas? Any things I can check myself?

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

I PM'ed him and the PM is still in my outbox. I can google him and find another email adress but somehow I dont feel this is right to bother someone with questions when someone decided not to be on this forum anymore.rickenbrother wrote:There are no tubes in that amp.

But: I brought the amp to a tech. Yesterday I got news that the amp is ready. Only problem is that the tech lives on the other end of the country and we dont have time to go there during business hours coming month. But still: I now have two working Rickenbacker Bass amps. The last (and first?) tube, and the last Transistor ones.

Hi Bert. I didn't quit the Forum, I just got real busy at Bad Cat and couldn't tune in often enough to be reliably effective. I still love Rickenbacker amps and am glad to hear yours is working again. Somewhere (??) I still have loads of spares for those puppies. FYI, I still take in repairs, but not too many. I always welcome Rics though.
