1967 Ric 340 Azureglo worth?

Post by Scottg97 »

I have a 1967 340 Azureglo that I have had since 1983. It's hardly been played. And has no major
scratches and is in very nice condition. Except it being a little dusty. Can anybody tell me what it's
worth?

Here's some pix's

Your question would probably best be suited for the Appraisals forum, Scott. It's a fine looking 340 and one of the first in that finish. The only drawback I see, or so it appears in the photo, are the changes in the knobs.

Could be the lighting showing up on my monitor.

Thanks ......I re-post it on that forum. The knobs are black with silver on the top. It's the
lighting making them look silver.

Scott, AZG didn't appear until 68 officially, so I wonder if this is an original finish. Is it a late 67 guitar? It doesn't look that dark from my monitor, but that may be the lighting.

Anyone else seen an original 67 AZG?

Is that an IA serial #, or the French "La" Scott? :)

FWIW, there is a more extensive discussion of this guitar on the Appraisals thread:

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=387186&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30

The serial # begins with "GL". This guitar is listed in the Register.

Wints, I think Scott's "Ia" in his last post was a typo for "Is". :)
