I'm assuming they are available in Gold Tone as well?

I'm not in any rush to change anything on my 4004Cii BBR just yet, but I'd like to get them for future possibilities.

Angleo, sounds like the PERFECT MOD.

You keep the switch I'm assuming...I like that! VT/VT, I like the sound of that better than the VVT mod....

Thanks in advance!

PICTURES! PICTURES PLEASE!
Ok I belive that the parts , pods and knobs are from C G I, , yes they are gold, I never use the switch but it is still there, so cosmetically the bass still looks the same, no hole drilled, well for me it was the perfect mod, I really am blown away with the way I can control eacxh pick up, but all the credit goes to Chris Clayton, he really did his homework on this to make it the perfect mod, I cant thank him enough, this is my ultimate bass now,I felt it would be a good mod, but I have to admit, it turned out even better than I imagined, again thats a credit to Chris who not only thought it out and researched it, but did a supreme job doing the mod, the man in my mind is priceless, I feel very fortunate to not only live 20 minutes away from Pick of the Ricks but to also have Chris not only as a dealer, but a very, very, very dear friend as well, all I can say is that if you do this mod, you will be very happy with the result, and understand why im beaming right now about this bass, she is second to none right now.

Hello Joey my dear, dear, dear, friend, I gotta tell you, Chriss did an amazing job with the mod, the research, time, effort and skill he put into it is second to none, I cant thank him enough, it is now my dream bass, I am also loveing the midblu, 4004 Larado I wound up takeing home with me too yeaterday, what the hell, I have a Cii might as well get a Larado too.I played the hell out of both of them last night and I am in bass player heaven today, I also noticed on all the new Cii's and Larado's Chris has in stock that the high sitting nut issue has been addressed, Kudo's to the Rickenbacker Corperation for whatever adjustments trhey made, the action on all the basses were for me very playable and I like a low action, the nut on my Cii was a problem with how high it sat but not know more Chris shaved the nut and now the action is perfect, he is doing the nut on my 08 4003 jetglo (F W I ) now which also was a issue, I will probibly do the same mod on the Larado as I had done on the Cii, but I like how the Larado sounded last night the way it is so could change my mind on that, ok Joey, you know im honest and speak my mind and say what I think, ( that gets me in trouble alot also) But yes, my Cii with the mod is the greatest bass in the world, and the Larado is proveing to be runner up. take care my dear, dear, dear, friend, give the lovely Diane a hug and kiss from me, and the the both of you have a very safe and pleasent weekend.

Wow, a Laredo too, huh? Good for you, congrats and enjoy it! I've never had a Laredo, maybe someday I will. They do look great in Midnight Blue. You have a great weekend as well, my dear friend...and stay out of trouble!

Did you need to enlarge the existing holes to fit the stacked pots? I'd love to see pics.
No, the pots fit the same. I do not have a picture of the insides.
